A Little Obsessed

A Little Obsessed is a five day mini-programme from Autumn Calabrese, exclusive to Beachbody on Demand, consisting of five thirty minute workouts. As the name suggests, it’s intended as a sample of/introduction to/warm up for the forthcoming 80 Day Obsession. The workouts fall into the same categories as those in its sister programme (Total Body Core, Booty, AAA, Cardio Core, and Legs), make use of the resistance bands and strength slides in the same way, and have a similar focus on the abs and bum, while still providing a good overall body workout and calories burn.

If you are intending to give 80 Day Obsession a try, I’d highly recommend setting aside 5 days to try this one first. It’s a little easier – though still no joke – and is a good opportunity to get used to some unfamiliar equipment and fairly complex moves.

That said, I feel this is also a good programme in its own right. If you love 21 Day Fix but have done it to death, this provides something similar in terms of intense but manageable thirty minutes workouts designed to be done on consecutive days. Doing it for three or four weeks in a row, combined with Portion Fix, would be a great way to get in shape for a holiday. I did it in the five days leading up to Christmas in an attempt to mitigate the effects of endless mince pies and mulled wine, which worked quite well.
